Good lord, it's hot. I think the thermometer hit 99 deg. today, but with our lovely river valley humidity, the heat  index (or as the weather people are fond of saying, "what it really feels like outside") was 125. I'm house/dog-sitting this week for my figure skating coach and her husband (and her son and his fiancee) while they're all in Florida. This has left me in charge of a very large house and three Bichons: Frederick, Simeon, and Hoosier.
